Chicago, IL 60601

One Chicago "Must" is a ride on a river architecture boat tour. There are several options for these, but the Fireboat is probably the coolest. Tip: Check out Groupon for discounted tickets and options for other boats. *Walking distance from River North.

Navy Pier

600 East Grand Avenue, Chicago, IL 60611

Navy Pier has quite a few things to do - restaurants, a theater, and a great view. But most iconic of all is the ferris wheel! Enjoy the beautiful view and vibrant atmosphere. *Walking distance from river north.

Chicago Botanic Garden - Lightscape

Chicago Botanic Garden - Lightscape

1000 Lake Cook Road, Glencoe, IL 60022

"Lightscape" is an event put on by the Chicago Botanic Garden around this time of year. It is a bit out of the city and really only accessible with a car. But if you have the time and can swing it, this 1.5 hour walk-through light experience is worth it! Make sure to buy tickets in advance.

Chicago History Museum

1601 North Clark Street, Chicago, IL 60614

If you love history, you will love the Chicago History Museum! Learn about key events in history like the World Fair and the Great Chicago Fire!

See a Show at a Chicago Theater!

With several locations around the city, Parson's has a chicken sandwich that will out CFA to shame!
