No later than April 1st, 2025.
The ceremony will start promptly at 5pm. If you are driving or taking a ride share please plan to arrive no later than 4:30p
While we love your children, due to the nature of the event we are having an 'adults only' celebration with the exception of immediate family. Thank you for your understanding!
Unfortunately we can only accommodate the guests listed on your invitation.
Weather permitting, our (very brief!) ceremony will be outdoors, and the cocktail hour, dinner, and reception will be indoors. There is a large outdoor patio that will be available during the cocktail hour and reception for some fresh air! In the event of inclement weather, the ceremony will be moved indoors.
The dress code for our wedding is cocktail attire. We suggest that men wear a suit or dress shirt, sports jacket (tie is optional) and dress slacks. Women are suggested to wear a midi or knee-length dress or dressy separates. Our ceremony will be outside on the lawn so stilettos or pointy heels are not recommended, heel covers are suggested if you'd like to wear skinny heels!
Yes, the venue has limited parking available, we recommend car pooling or utilizing a ride share service. If you leave your car overnight, the venue requires it is picked up by 10am the following morning for space for their next event. Uber and Lyft are available in the area, as is the shuttle if you are staying in one of our hotel blocks.
We are opting for an "unplugged ceremony", we ask for the brief duration of our ceremony that cellphones and cameras are turned off and photos are captured only by our photographers. Following the conclusion of our ceremony you are welcome to capture as many photos and videos of the evening as you'd like!
The Denver area is 5,280ft above sea level (and our wedding venue is 6,244ft above sea level!) That’s actually a pretty important number, because the higher above sea level you get, the more your body and your actions have to adjust to accommodate the altitude and avoid altitude sickness. Why do people get altitude sickness? A few reasons. First, the air is “thinner” up here, meaning there isn’t as much oxygen for your lungs. In Colorado, high altitude also translates to drier conditions, meaning you can become dehydrated quickly. You’re also exposed to more UV light, which means quicker and stronger sunburns. Tip #1 Drink LOTS of water! -Don’t wait to get thirsty to decide you need a drink, either. Sip frequently! Tip #2 Monitor your Booze-Intake -At higher altitudes, it’s easy to get super tipsy, super-fast — completely by accident. Take it slow and remember to drink LOTS of water between drinks! Tip #3 Wear sunscreen if you plan to be outdoors for any period of time! -Don't forget sunglasses too, (PS did you know you can actually sunburn your eyes?!) Tip #4 Pack and dress in layers! -The sun is intense, but when you move to a shaded area or cloud coverage is heavy the temperature drop can be quite extreme. Layering appropriately is key! Also if you plan on spending some time in the mountains be sure to check the forecast beforehand as temperatures and weather at higher elevations will be quite different than those in Denver!
