We’re getting married!

It was the first day of PA school for both of us. So many nerves and so cold. I was patiently waiting in line for my photo ID. It was about to be my turn and I was trying to unzip my winter coat but the zipper was stuck! I was panicking and didn’t want to take my pic in a puffy coat. I turned around and there was this cute boy standing behind me. I kindly asked, “Excuse me, can you help me unzip my coat?” He politely said yes and fixed the caught zipper. I didn’t ask his name but shortly after I introduced my self and found out his name was Kyle Linehan. From that day on, we had an instant connection. We were friends to start but after a few months I finally grew the courage to tell Kyle I liked him. Luckily, he felt the same way! Since then we’ve been inseparable. Best friends, classmates, coworkers, lovers, now happily engaged!

I was away with some of my girl friends and my sister for a long weekend in Portland, ME. The last day of the trip I wasn’t too thrilled that we were going to the Portland Head Light. I was cranky, tired, and wanted to go home to see my boyfriend and my puppy but my friends insisted. We’re walking to the top of the hill where you get the most beautiful view of the ocean and the lighthouse and I feel someone tap my on my shoulder. I turn around and Kyle is standing there with my puppy, Gordon, holding flowers. He states “Ariel Elizabeth Solomon”, gets down on one knee, “Will you marry me?” I was shocked and confused looked at my sister and said “I’m going to kill you!” After I realized what was occurring I said YES! Now we are engaged! We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you. See you in West Bridgewater!
