Kelsey and Ariel met during a party at her house while in medical school. She recognized him as the guy who was always sleeping in the back of the lecture hall. He recognized her as the girl who had everything in pink. They had instant chemistry, but the sparks didn't really start flying until they returned for their second year of medical school. Fate brought them back together the first day back to school and they never looked back!

Although they knew they were eventually going to get married, Ariel made Kelsey wait until their 5 year anniversary before he made it official. They were supposed to go to a nice dinner but their dog wasn't feeling well and they didn't want to leave him home alone. Instead, Ariel made a beautiful steak dinner and bought a bottle of champagne (Kelsey's favorite!). Before they started eating their meal, Ariel gave Kelsey a card.... and an engagement ring!
