Way back when in the 8th grade, two middle school students were crushing on each other. Ariel told Libby about her crush - who told the rest of their friends - who told Caden. Through the chain of people, Ariel heard back that Caden said, "Let me think about it," but that wasn't exactly what he said. Caden and Ariel had a long history of being mean to one another, and they had just begun to act friendly towards each other. Therefore, he did not want to mess that up, and it took him a week to decide what to do. Fortunately for the both of them, he decided he would ask Ariel to be his girlfriend. However, before he could do it himself, JD stepped in and did it for him at lunch one day - one of the most middle school things a person could do. It did work, though, and ever since that day, Caden and Ariel have been as happy as could be.

Ariel loves everything about fall - the weather, pumpkin carving, Halloween, etc. She was very excited when Caden said he would take her on a date to the pumpkin patch where they would pick out pumpkins to paint later that day. However, they went, sat in the parking lot, and left after 20 minutes of no workers being there when they were supposed to open. Ariel was crushed, but Caden made up for it big time about a week later. They were going to Ariel's apartment after each having Bible studies at the BCM that night, but Caden, with the help of her roommates, had planned a big surprise for Ariel when she walked through the door. There were pumpkins, fall decorations, and lights set up in the middle of her living room. On the pumpkins, the words "Marry Me?" were written, and Caden got down on one knee when they walked in. He asked Ariel to be his wife in the pumpkin patch he set up in her living room, and it was the sweetest thing Ariel ever imagined. It was the absolutely perfect proposal for the two of them.

This brings us to now - our wedding day! Even though this day may not look how we originally thought it would, we are still so excited to be celebrating the beginning of our lives as husband and wife!
