The first time we met was at church. We were young and never really conversed, but we would see each other around and knew of each other. We both played basketball in high school, and our schools would play one another.I took the initiative to send a Facebook message in 2010 and we began to have conversation; we would message every once in a while and check in on life. Seven years later, the year 2017 , Alx reached out to me and took a different approach and asked for my number,from there came long talks and great dates. It didnt take long for me to realize he was for me he was the most kind, respectful,and loving person and we fell for one another. From there, a bond was built that led to a 5-year relationship, a beautiful blended family, and a handsome baby boy.

On December 24, 2021, Christmas Eve, we were headed to what I thought was a nice dinner. When we got in the car to leave , Alx stated that he had a surprise for me and placed a blind fold over my eyes. After riding for what felt like forever lol,we came to a stop and he helped me out of the car. When my blindfold was removed, I was surprised to be at Ballard Park surrounded by all of my family and friends and him down on one knee. Alx asked me to marry him and there was no hesitation and no doubt in my mind that I wanted to be his wife. It was the most beautiful and one of the happiest moments of my life.
