It was the day of my 28th birthday and little did I know, I would be receiving a very special gift all the way from Italy. My sister, Laura, and I connected for the very first time on that day. Even though we were raised thousands of miles apart, neither time nor distance has diminished the bond that we have built throughout the past year and a half. Although we have missed out on many milestones in each other's lives, our immediate connection has made it feel as though we have always been by the other's side and I am so honored that she will physically be by my side on my wedding day.
Jesse
Best Man
Most of you know Jesse as Ariel's brother and as she would describe him, the best brother she could have asked for. Jesse has the biggest heart of anyone I have met and is the most loving and caring person I know. He welcomed me into his life and treated me as a brother from the beginning and I couldn't have been more grateful for that. Jesse will always tell you the full truth, no matter what it is, yet it never seems harsh coming from him. He is the comedic relief in all of our lives and has the ability to use his humor (and those dad jokes that he has mastered) to turn any situation into something we can laugh about. You will all be able to see exactly what we mean when he gets some drinks in him at the wedding and toasts to how deeply he loves his family...every two minutes.
Nathalie

Nathalie and Ariel became close in High School and grew closer as we were going through college. Our bond was strengthened when we found out we were both having our first child around the same time. We became best friends. Not only have we been able to raise our kids together and watch as their friendship has developed, but we have also been able to stand right by each other throughout everything life has handed us over the years. Nathalie is someone who I can turn to no matter what. Without judgement, she is someone who will keep me grounded and always bring me back to reality when I need it most. I consider myself so lucky that I have someone like her in my life.
Rick
Groomsman
Rick and I became close when I was young and needed guidance. We have so many memories together and he has always been a huge part of my support system. We have been together through thick and thin and he is someone that I can turn too when I need it most. When Ariel and I decided to buy our first house, Rick allowed me to move in with him so we could save up for a down payment. He has one of the best sense of humor of anyone that I know and is one of the most genuine people that I have ever met in my life.
Rachel
Bridesmaid
Rachel was the first friend Ariel made after moving to Simi Valley at 10 years old. After moving in next door (ok, across the street) we instantly clicked, sharing many laughs, tears and inside jokes as we grew up together. From playing handball in each other's driveways (I still have that scar on my knee from that fall I took), to me stealing her diary (and finding most of the pages were dedicated to her hatred of me and calling my cat fat). Jumping into the pool together fully clothed, our late night dance parties to the Spice Girls and countless sleepovers and movie nights (with popcorn and hot coco), our memories together are endless. Here's to a lifetime more of memories to be made with you by my side.
Donte
Groomsman
Donte and I met through our love of basketball and our friendship grew over more than five years of coaching our sons together. He has become like a brother to me throughout the years. Donte is someone who will never sugarcoat the truth and will always tell me how it is, and in my eyes that is what a true friend does. He is someone that will always have my back, and I will always have his.

Krista and Ariel connected through Jesse and it didn't take long until Ariel looked at her as a sister. Krista is one of the sweetest and most supportive people I have in my life and has been someone I have been able to confide in. Through the ups and downs, she has been here every step of the way and I am so grateful to have her standing by my side as a bridesmaid.
Jonathan
Groomsman
Jonathan has been in my life for longer than I can remember and he has always been considered family to us. It doesn’t matter how long him and I go without seeing each other, we always pick up right where we left off. Jonathan and I share many memories and laughs together and his friendship is something I truly cherish. We have been there for each other through many of life’s ups and downs and I couldn’t imagine not having him by my side on this day.
Dalton
Bridesman
Dalton is like a brother to Ariel and has always been considered a part of the family. After professing his love for me at 6 years old (joking), he has remained one of the most protective and caring people in my life. (He even pretends he doesn't notice as I'm stealing his food while we're talking.) Before Elijah entered this world, he became an amazing Uncle "Dolphin" and since Elijah arrived he has treated him with the same protection and care that he has always shown for me. Many of the milestone moments of my life have been shared with Dalton right there and I couldn't imagine this milestone without him.
Jason
Junior Groomsman
When we told Jason that he was going to be our Junior Groomsmen he asked what his job would entail. We told him that all he would have to do is stand there and look pretty, to which he responded "Oh that's no problem, I can do that." Jason is always making us laugh with his dad-jokes and his extreme sarcasm. He is such a loving and genuine kid and the best big brother to Elijah. We are so blessed to have him as our son and can't wait to see him in his tux on our special day, standing there and looking pretty.
Emma
Flower Girl
Emma is Nathalie’s daughter and has been close friends with Elijah since before they could walk. We are so grateful to have this beautiful girl in our lives. Witnessing her grow into the smart, generous, silly, talented and creative individual that she has become has been such a blessing. Thank you, Emma, for being our flower girl, we love you so much!
Elijah
Ring Bearer
Our sweet, handsome, caring, intelligent son! We are so happy to share this special day with this little love of ours. He has been so excited to be involved in our wedding and has expressed his happiness from the very beginning. He couldn't wait to be our ring bearer. From the moment he found out what his position was he began asking what he would wear and expressed that whatever it was, it had to be a cute bear costume and not a scary one. (yes, he thinks it is a ring BEARer.) So, if you see this handsome boy walking down the aisle wearing a bear costume (and throwing ring pops at you), don't be suprised!!
