Where is the venue?

Answer

Our wedding will be held in Daytona Beach, about 75 minutes drive from Orlando, at the beautiful Cici & Hyatt Brown Museum of Art, 352 S Nova Road, Daytona Beach, FL 32114. There are two buildings located at the address. Our ceremony will be held in the smaller building in the Northeast corner of the complex (see map above). The venue is very close to the beach so our guests can soak up the sun before the wedding if they choose! There are also many hotels and restaurants in the area for our guests traveling from out of state.

What should I wear?

Answer

We know that a June wedding in Florida is going to be a HOT day! The good news is, our wedding and reception will both be held indoors during evening hours, and therefore we plan to stay cool. Please dress in formal attire to your comfort level.

What will be served at the reception?

Answer

Dinner will be served after the ceremony. There will be options of pasta and sauce, along with salad, breadsticks, and assorted beverages. If you have special dietary needs or restrictions, please reach out and let us know in advance.

Are children allowed?

Answer

Per our invitations, children under the age of 14 cannot attend our ceremony or reception. As much as we love your little ones, our venue cannot accommodate children or infants. We want as many of our friends and family in attendance as possible, and we understand that finding childcare can be a challenge. If you have further questions, please contact the bride or groom.

Will alcohol be served?

Answer

No, alcohol will not be served at our reception and our venue strictly prohibits consumption of outside alcohol.

What else do the bride and groom want me to know?

Answer

- Traffic during summer months in Florida can be atrocious! Please allow yourself plenty of time to arrive at the venue and be seated before 6:30pm. Doors will open at 6:00pm. - Drew and I have carefully curated a registry based on what we need. Our links are listed above. We respectfully request that if you would like to purchase a gift item, that it be something from our registry. - We will not be having a receiving line, but there will be time set aside during the reception for anyone who would like to take a photo with the Bride & Groom to do so. Andrew and I are so happy to be sharing our special day with our family and friends and look forward to seeing you on June 6th! Thank you for helping us celebrate.
