We are excited to have you all visit America's finest city as this place is where Jesus and I met and lived for many years. There are endless things to do here and hope you love and enjoy it here as much as we do :) - Estamos emocionados de que todos visiten la mejor ciudad de Estados Unidos, ya que este es el lugar donde Jesús y yo nos conocimos y vivimos durante muchos años. Hay un sinfín de cosas que hacer aquí y espero que te guste y lo disfrutes tanto como nosotros :)
Balboa Park

Balboa Park

San Diego, CA

Balboa Park is one of San Diego's most famous and beautiful public parks that has a lot to offer and is only a few miles away from the downtown area. There are restaurants and museums that you can visit or simply enjoy a nice walk in the park for free. One of my favorite places to be while in San Diego! Restaurant recommendation: The Prado

Gaslamp Quarter

Gaslamp Quarter

San Diego, CA 92101

The Gaslamp is directly in downtown and where the party happens! There are plenty of restaurants, bars, hotels in the area and this is where the nightlife is if you are up for that! Restaurant recommendation: - Tacos El Gordo (late night dinner) - Breakfast Republic (breakfast) - Rustic Roots (rooftop bar with small bites and drinks) - Onyx, Sidebar, Whiskey Girl, Barley Mash, Sevilla, Parq, Oxford Social Club, El Chingon (clubs)

Seaport Village

Seaport Village

849 West Harbor Drive, San Diego, CA 92101

A 14 acre waterfront shopping, dining and entertainment complex including many shops, casual dining and fine dining waterfront restaurants. You can just enjoy walking around the waterfront as well and even witness the giant Kissing Statue! :)

San Diego Zoo

San Diego Zoo

2920 Zoo Drive, San Diego, CA 92101

Located in the middle of Balboa Park, The San Diego Zoo is by far the best zoo we have been to! It is extremely large and there are many animals to see, a great place to enjoy with family and get those steps in as well ;) If you have the time, I highly recommend!

Embarcadero

Embarcadero

San Diego, CA

Another way to get some steps in and enjoy the ocean by walking (or renting a bike) along the waterfront, there is the waterfront park as well nearby, restaurants and the USS Midway Museum. Restaurant recommendation: Carnitas Snack Shack Portside Coffee and Gelato (coffee and breakfast)

Little Italy

Little Italy

San Diego, CA 92101

A cute little Italian pocket of San Diego, there are plenty of restaurants and bars to walk to and explore. Restaurant Recommendations: - Barbusa (dinner) - Underbelly (for some good ramen) - Queenstown Public House (breakfast/lunch) - Morning Glory (breakfast) - Salt and Straw (ice cream)

Coronado

Coronado

Coronado, CA

Situated just across the bay from downtown San Diego, Coronado is consistently voted best beach in the U.S. by Dr. Beach. With gentle surf, sparkling wide-sand beaches, charming main street and great hotels, including the famous Hotel del Coronado, this island paradise is perfect for a family vacation or romantic getaway.

North Park

North Park

San Diego, CA

North Park holds a very special place in our hearts as we lived in this side of town for roughly 4 years and we absolutely miss it here! North Park is funky, hip and filled with lots of beer. There are boutiques, art galleries, family-friendly restaurants, hard kombucha bars, modern cuisine, and music venues. If you have any questions or want specific recommendations here, don't hesitate to ask! Restaurant recommendations: - Senor Mangos (smoothies, acai bowls, tortas) - Chris Ono's Grinds Island Grill (hawaiin bbq - sooo good) - Antique Row (cheap and big breakfast!) - Tajima (late night ramen) - Hawthorn Coffee, James Coffee Co, Communal Coffee, Coffea and Tea Co. Located only a few miles north of San Diego's bustling downtown, the vibrant uptown neighborhood of Hillcrest stands as San Diego's LGBTQ+ central hub, offering an array of bars, restaurants, coffee houses, boutiques and unique shops. Restaurant Recommendations: - Great Maple, Hash House Go Go, Snooze (breakfast/brunch) - Better Buzz (coffee) - Tajima (ramen)

Mission Beach

Mission Beach

San Diego, CA 92109

Mission Beach is San Diego’s lively take on the classic boardwalk beach town with nearly two miles of oceanfront boardwalk, numerous rental shops and Belmont Park, a boardwalk amusement park, featuring the Giant Dipper Roller Coaster, originally built in 1925 but since restored, the Beach House Grill, miniature golf, bumper cars, rock climbing and an arcade.

Pacific Beach

Pacific Beach

San Diego, CA

One of the beaches in San Diego's Mission Bay & Beaches region, P.B. (as the locals call it) is a favorite spot for college students and young adults enjoying the party atmosphere, frequenting the area’s restaurants and bars—some just steps from the sand. P.B. comes alive at night, too, with the glow of bonfires and the electricity of the region’s many clubs. It's also where I have witnessed some of San Diego's best sunsets! Restaurant Recommendations: - Backyard Kitchen and Tap - Crushed (brunch) - Breakfast Republic (breakfast) - The Grass Skirt (dinner and drinks) - PB shoreclub, PB avenue, PB alehouse, Mavericks (night clubs) - El Prez (tacos and drinks) - Waterbar (drinks with a view)

Sunset Cliffs
