Question

Where is Simsboro, Louisiana?

Answer

Simsboro is a tiny area outside of Ruston, Louisiana. To give you an idea of the area, Simsboro is near Louisiana Tech University, in North Louisiana.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Yes! We love all the kiddos in our family and want them to be a part of our special day.

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

Since we are so blessed to already have all the material things we need for our new life together, we created a honeymoon experiences registry. If you insist on gifting us something, you can gift us a fun activity on our trip! This page is located in the "Registry" tab on this website.

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

We are asking that all guests RSVP by April 1, 2024! You can RSVP by mailing the RSVP card included in your invitation.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony begins at 4:00 PM, but you are welcome to arrive early if you'd like! We just ask that very early birds arrive no earlier than 12:30 PM!

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We are not sticklers about dress code! We ask that guests wear garden attire, but please wear what makes you feel comfortable. If you want to be matchy-matchy, our wedding colors are moss green, gold, tan, and beige. Keep in mind that temperatures may be on the high end!

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If the name of your partner is not included on the invitation envelope, we ask that you please ask the couple before bringing them. This is only because our venue has strict capacity limits, and we want to make sure we have room for everyone! If you have any questions about who you can bring, please don't hesitate to reach out to us.

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

We definitely want our friends and family with dietary restrictions to feel included in our event! There will be some light options that are gluten-free and/or dairy-free. Please reach out to us beforehand to let us know how we can accommodate you!

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes! There will be plenty of parking for everyone at Creekwood Gardens. There is a special area for those who require handicapped parking spaces. If this applies to you, please contact us before the wedding so that we can make sure you have the best parking possible!

Question

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

Yes! We love pictures, and want everyone to be able to remember this beautiful day! We will have a professional photographer at the ceremony. We ask that you just please be mindful of them when you are taking photos! Also, no flash photography would be highly appreciated.

Question

Will the ceremony and reception take place indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Great question! Our ceremony will take place in an outdoor chapel. For the reception, you have the option to stay inside or mingle outside. The reception area has an indoor, air-conditioned greenhouse, and an outdoor, semi-covered deck area.

Question

What's your wedding hashtag?

Answer

#downtheaislewithduran
