The Wallingford Lodge (a.k.a. The Boys Camp) used to be an old summer camp for boys on Elfin Lake. Today, it is used as a venue for family reunions. weddings, summer camps, etc. We love the uniqueness of the venue, with the lake to it's side, it's rustic construction, and large front yard with a woodsy backside- we want to give our guests a touch of the summer camp vibe. We've named our celebration Camp Doiron and sprinkled some pieces of authentic New England summer camp to tie it all together. We will have lawn games, a bonfire, and s'mores to complete the summer camp feel!
Semi Formal/Casual- summery dresses, khaki shorts, button down shirt, etc. Whatever you feel comfortable in!
We will provide lemonade, iced tea, soda, water. We will also have some alcoholic drinks in bottles and cans. If you want anything different to drink feel free to byob!
Absolutely! After the short ceremony is complete- feel free to enjoy the entire lodge and lake! We will have lawn games such as cornhole and horse shoes. There will be a DJ for dancing and a bonfire after dinner too! Any water activities will be done at your own risk.
We will have a variety of items to choose from at our buffet dinner for your dietary restrictions.
