Yalıkavak Marina is a luxury marina in the town of Yalıkavak, just a short taxi ride from where we're staying. Turkey’s most-awarded marina, Yalıkavak Marina is considered one of the leading Mediterranean marinas. The walk through the marina takes about half an hour (longer, if you decide to do some shopping!), and after you can sit down at one of the restaurants.
Renowned beach concept at a beautiful new location. Each week, a diverse line-up of live artists and performers entertain guests. For those looking to rest and rejuvenate, Scorpios Bodrum’s Ritual Space celebrates the connection between art and wellbeing (acoustic musical performances, art shows, meditation practices). Alex liked it so much that he forgot his shoes under the sunbed :) Or was that an excuse to come back the next day?
Best meal and service we had in Bodrum. Authentic rustic Mediterranean style cooking updated with flavors from around the world by an Executive Chef Aret Sahakyan at Macakizi Hotel in Bodrum. Awarded one Michelin star. While during the daytime the restaurant serves the hotel's famous beach club, in the evening prior reservations are required.
The semi-circular boardwalk in Türkbükü is a popular spot for socializing, dining, and partying. The boardwalk is lined with shops, restaurants, bars, and docks for sunbathing and dining. It also offers views of the Aegean Sea. Also, there're a lot of furry friends wandering around :) Right before and past the small bridge located next to Divan Hotel, you’ll come across a large open bazaar selling colorful souvenirs, jewelry, and textiles. Make sure to try on one of the beach kaftans – a favorite among the high end Istanbul crowd.
Miam Restaurant offers incredible food and service while facing the ocean under an abundant number of mature trees.
Garo’s literary transports you on the other side of the Aegean Sea where the vibrant Greek taverns invites you on a delightful culinary adventure of the Greek cuisine. Miam was fully booked, so we ended up here and had an absolutely amazing time.
