Portland Rose Festival's Impact on Travel
The Portland Rose Festival will be taking place in Portland during the wedding. It runs from late May through June. Due to the festival, traffic may be heavier than usual, so plan accordingly. Additionally, the Starlight Parade will be taking place the night of the wedding with road closures starting at 3pm and ending at around 11pm. Please take this into account when planning your travel to the ceremony. The link has additional information about the festival.

Flight
Alaska Airlines
Alaska flies direct to PDX from DCA. However, there is only one direct flight per day and it is the only direct flight to PDX out of DCA. There are a number of other Alaska flights that have an easy layover in Seattle. We encourage you to book flights early due to summer travel and the limited flights to Portland, Ore. from the Washington, D.C. region.

United Airlines
United has a direct flight out of IAD to PDX. This is the only direct flight from Dulles to Portland, so booking early is recommended. There are a number of flights with layovers out of Dulles.
