FAQ

Question

What is the attire for the wedding ceremony and reception?

Answer

Formal cocktail. We are respectfully requesting that all guests wear black suits and dresses, if possible.

Question

When should I arrive in Las Vegas?

Answer

We hope that everyone is able to enjoy all that the city has to offer, so we encourage everyone to arrive a few days in advance. For the wedding party, we recommend arriving no later than Thursday evening. For the rest of our guests, we recommend arriving no later than Saturday evening.

Question

How do I get around town?

Answer

If you plan on saying on or near the strip, both ride-share apps (Uber or Lyft) and taxis are very reasonably priced and likely your best option. However if you plan on staying farther away from the downtown area and rent a car, just keep in mind some hotels may charge for parking.

Question

How far is the airport from the Strip?

Answer

It’s right next door! Transport from the airport is usually no more than 10 minutes from any location on the strip. If you are staying outside of the major resort areas, it will generally be 15 to 20 minutes.

Question

How walkable is the Strip?

Answer

Although the Strip appears very walkable, it can be deceptively difficult to navigate and distances can be farther than they appear. We suggest learning the lay of the land early upon arrival. That being said, exploring by foot is by far the best way to get a full taste of the unique experiences Vegas has to offer!

Question

What will the weather be like?

Answer

The weather might be cooling down back in Washington, but the weather in Vegas will still be very hospitable. Anticipate weather in the 80s and 90s during the day, and chilly desert nights in the 40s.
