In 2014 that's when it all started, I was working as a hostess at a mexican restaurant, Casa Ranchero. A month or so goes by and I notice someone new started working there, I was minding my own business and not really thinking anything of it. We introduced each other and would talk here and there until it started to turn into flirting and Anthony acting a little more charming than normal. Anthony eventually asked me out to a Drake and Lil' Wayne concert (who wouldn't want to go?!), which my mom was NOT a fan of. I begged and begged, keep in mind I was only eighteen and Anthony is nine years older than me (don't worry my parents absolutely adore Anthony now). We had such a great time together, Anthony decided to make it official after spilling beer in my hair earlier that night! Ever since that night we spent almost every day together since we did work at the same restaurant for the next three years. Over the past five years, we have had so many amazing experiences together and we can't wait to do life and grow old together!

The day has finally come, after five years we are engaged! We decided to take a trip down to San Diego for our five year anniversary, and now San Diego is a very special place to us. On the day of our anniversary, we started off our day with one of our favorite meals, fluffy pancakes, a Japanese dish. After brunch, we make our way around downtown to kill time before we check out Coronado Island and go down to the beach at Hotel del Coronado. As we arrive to the hotel with a beautiful sunset, I notice Anthony is constantly looking at his phone. I honestly didn't really think anything of it, I was enjoying a cocktail! We make our way down to the beach and he guides me up on these rocks and asks this girl who didn't speak English to take photos and a video of us... Anthony then gets down on one knee and stays there the whole time while he is saying the sweetest things and of course, asked me to marry him. We're both crying and laughing, getting down off the rocks I'm getting ready to call everyone to tell them the great news. Anthony then says he has another surprise for me and turns me around, and I see my family and friends running out of the beach to us! As I start crying and laughing even harder now. The day was just so perfect and couldn't have asked for anything else. We are so excited to celebrate our love with all of you! Cheers!
