If you are looking to get out and enjoy the mountains, we recommend St. Mary's Glacier! This hike is just outside of the city. If you make it out this way, be sure to stop in Idaho Springs for a little shopping and a bite to eat. We always stop at West Down and Bound for a bison burger and a beer! If you want to explore other hikes, we recommend downloading the AllTrails app.
Red Rocks is an amazing natural amphitheater just outside of Denver at the foothills of the mountains. There will even be a few live shows during our wedding weekend! If you aren't interested in attending a concert here, you can tour the amphitheater in the mornings.
For our out of town guest, we wanted to recommend areas to eat and shop: Downtown Boulder Estes Park (close to Rocky Mountain National Park - be aware of the reservation system) Highland Square (32nd and Lowell) Tennyson Street (44th and Tennyson) Breckenridge Fort Collins Golden
Our favorite location in RiNo for happy hour. Order a Gordita Crunch and a Marg, you won't be disappointed! From here you can walk to many other bars, breweries, and restaurants, enjoy the graffiti murals, and support local shops.
Stop in and support our friends and local company. We recommend checking out Denver Central Market just few steps away.
Walking distance from our new home. Even Tusox and Pierre are regulars.
If you're staying in the neighborhood, we recommend taking a walk around the park, enjoying a picnic, or joining in on a game of volleyball! We recommend Homegrown Tap and Dough, Agave Taco Bar, and Devil's Food Bakery on the East Side of the Park. We recommend Kaos Pizzeria, Sushi Den or Izakaya Den, and Park Burger on the West Side (South Pearl Street).
If you're interested in taking a tour at Coors Brewery, make sure to arrive early! Tours fill up quickly. After your tour, you can walk through the town of Golden.
The Botanic Gardens have a wide range of gardens covering 24 acres in Denver. This is a great option for you and your kids!
