The beginning of our forever

We met September 6th, 2018 at Xfinity Live, watching the Philadelphia Eagles season opening game. Anthony asked Kailee what her hobbies were and Kailee talked his ear off the entire game. And yes... the Eagles won.

Three weeks after first meeting, Kailee returned home from her trip to Bali and scheduled the first date. The date was to start at 8pm at Sassafras Bar in Old City which Kailee proceeded to sleep through, and was an hour late. Whoops! Luckily, Anthony stuck around and the first date ended better than it started. Kailee still apologizes to this day - and Anthony still holds it against her.

Fast forward a year a half, we moved in to a quintessential Philadelphia row home in the beautiful Washington Square West neighborhood one week before the pandemic. The pandemic expedited our assimilation to life with each other. Nothing like a forced lockdown to help you really get to know someone better. Luckily, we really liked each other!

On a beautiful fall morning, Anthony walked Kailee to the spot in Old City where she first realized he was the one. Anthony got down on one knee and asked Kailee to spend the rest of her life with him. Of course, she said yes! Little did Kailee know, her brother was photographing the entire moment. But it didn't end there. Shortly after taking some photos and shedding lots of happy tears, Anthony and Timon walked Kailee to what she thought was going to be a celebratory brunch. Instead, they led her to Franklin Square where their closest friends and family were waiting to surprise her. It was the best day & best surprise a girl could ask. Anthony did good!
