While at church by myself, I turned around to see Jayne worshipping. I never saw her face, but knew that I needed to meet this Godly woman. Some may call this love at first sight. - Anthony I was at church with some friends. I had a significantly powerful night and it was no secret, I was a hot mess. Two days later... I get a dm about "coffee"... I was definitely feeling suspicious but highly interested. He's cute!! - Jayne

Our relationship quickly grew beyond sliding in the DMs for a coffee date. A pattern of constant dinners, cigars, bible studies, gym sessions, laughs, and spending every waking moment loving each other began. We made this relationship official at Duquesne after meeting each other’s families. - Anthony The coffee date (6:30 am!!!) happened and literally the rest is history. We fell in love fast! Like crazy-town fast!! But we didn't care! We DTR (Defined The Relationship for you old folks) one month after meeting. And yes, I was the one to initiate that conversation. About 15 minutes of nervous sweats I blurted, "what are we?!" When you know you know ♡ We love falling in love with each other, we learned that pretty fast. 2 days after the Horst wedding, I officially started my mission of marrying Jayne by asking for her hand from my future in-laws. Almost two months later, with a ring in hand and all of the conversations had, it was time for a proposal. With the help of Justine, Jordan, Taylor, Jonah, Jenn, Jay, Christine, Bob, Nicole, and Doug, I surprised Jayne with a proposal at Hocking Hills. This trip is an annual tradition between the Simon and Kaniecki families, and this was the first one that I was invited to. Immediately following the proposal the talented Taylor Simon photographed us and Jordan Horst pieced together a wonderful cinematic short. - Anthony I truly had no idea.
