We're Getting Married!

Tinder.....It's a Match!! Looks like we both 'swiped right' and were paired up. Neither of us were taking the dating app seriously at the time, but it looks like it worked out in our favor. I discovered we had mutual friends in real life, so I asked around about Anthony (heard some good things) and ended up sending him a message.

We actually spent the first month after finding each other just talking over the phone and getting to know one other before we met in person. A couple weeks into April, we met for the first time. We spent the evening talking, laughing and learning each others histories. Turns out; we really liked being around one another. It wasn't long before bowling, movies, arcades and mini-golf dates were the regular.

After we both got home from the Chicago Blackhawks 2015 Stanley Cup Championship Parade... Anthony asked me to be his girlfriend. :)

It was on our vacation to South Carolina that Anthony proposed to me. We had just arrived to the beach house we were staying at for the week, about 10:30 at night, and he asked if I wanted to go for a walk down by the water. I noticed his vibe was a little off. He was very quiet ... but I didn't bring any attention to it. I figured the long day of travel was getting the best of him. We didn't make it far down the beach before I was distracted and pointing up at constellations in the dark sky. Next thing I know, he's saying my name to get my attention to turn around. In his hand was a little box with a light shining inside of it, illuminating this sparkly thing. I have never seen Anthony nervous, or heard him stumbling with words, but this was that moment. He asked, and of course I said yes! Fireworks went off all around us from all the kids on the beach (Fourth of July week) and it made for the sweetest moment. He couldn't even wait one full day of vacation to get it done, which was perfect because we spent the week in South Carolina enjoying our engagement. It was perfect.
