Hayden and I met Labor Day of 2020! I had recently become really good friends with his sister, Katherine, and we decided we were going to tag along with her dad and brother for a lake getaway! Hayden had just gotten out of a long term relationship and he likes to say I had eyes on him first, but truth be told it was all him! Kat showed me her brother a couple days before we headed to pickwick and we started to talk a little before hand. Well the day of comes and we spend all day out on the lake! We had taken some pictures and at supper that night Kat posted them on Facebook. Later on that night I get a message from my aunt asking if I was with Greg Cagle, which is their dad! I said yes and when I asked Greg if he knew who Michelle was he instantly turned white as a ghost and started to tear up. Of course Hayden and I start freaking out wondering what was going on waiting for Greg to let us know if we were related or what HA! Come to find out our dads were best friends in college. Many of ya'll might not know but my dad, Tommy, passed away before my senior year of high school. To put all of that together was honestly the most God thing I've ever experienced in my life!! It was all in God's perfect timing that I met the love of my life that day. From then on we have been inseparable ever since, and while some may say or think wow that is fast, they just met. I never thought it could happen for me this way but the second I laid my eyes on Hayden, I knew he was the one!
