GETTING THERE

Answer

Our venue is located 20 minutes outside of Santa Fe proper in the Hyde Memorial State Park. The road up is windy and will require your attention. The lodge itself is just past the state park entrance signage and will be dawned with a special event sign. Please be advised parking is limited in the vicinity of the venue and you may need to park at the close-by picnic lots once the venue parking fills up. Carpooling if possible is advised.

TRANSPORTATION?

Answer

We will not have any transportation to or from the wedding. Please make sure you have a designated driver if you plan on drinking. Please also note due to the remoteness of the venue Uber/Lyft drivers may be difficult to acquire.

WHAT TIME SHOULD I ARRIVE?

Answer

The ceremony will begin at 3:30 pm. Please arrive at least 15 minutes before the ceremony to allow time for parking and finding your seat.

WHEN DO I NEED TO RSVP BY?

Answer

Please RSVP by August 14, 2024, by clicking the RSVP tab in the menu above. If you do not RSVP in time we will assume that you are unable to attend.

WHAT DO I DO IF I CAN'T MAKE IT?

Answer

You will be dearly missed! If you can not make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP "not attending" so we can plan accordingly. Thank you!

CAN I BRING A GUEST/DATE?

Answer

Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. If you received a plus one they will appear under your name when you RSVP. Thank you for understanding!

Can we bring the kiddos?

Answer

We love your kiddos, we do! However, we can only accommodate children belonging to the bridal party and immediate family due to the nature of our venue. Invitations will be specific and will include the names of the children who are invited. However, we encourage you to use this evening as a "night out" for yourself! For those of you who will be bringing your children, please be sure to watch them closely.

CAN I TAKE PICTURES DURING THE CEREMONY?

Answer

We are having an "unplugged" ceremony, meaning that once the ceremony begins, we ask that all phones be put away and silenced. We want everyone to be fully present with us and for our photographer to be able to capture the best moments. Once the ceremony is over feel free to take as many pictures as you'd like and don't forget to share them with us!

what do i wear?

Answer

Please note our venue is outside and all events will be outdoors unless in the case of inclement weather. We encourage our guests to dress in semi-formal attire and comfortable footwear that can handle the rocky terrain of the parking lot and stairs. Please note temperatures can drop to the mid-sixties this time of year and a cover-up or jacket may be appropriate for the evening events.
