It's your classic millennial love story, two hopeless Christian romantics looking for love in all the wrong places; dating apps. Until one day, they happened upon eachother's profiles and swiped right. Josh sent the first message, Annie made the first call. After only two days of chatting Josh asked Annie out on a date for Saturday, a coffee and walk around Green Lake. "That sounds perfect," said Annie, "can we meet early? I was wanting to go to the Mariner's game at 1PM." "Can I come with you?" Asked Josh. "Wow you must think this first date is going to go well to commit to two dates! Do you really want to come with me?" Asked Annie. "Absolutely I do." Replied Josh. As soon as they met outside of the coffee shop time flew by, it wasn't until the 7th inning stretch where Josh said in surprise, "has it really been five hours?!" Time together was already so full of laughter, depth, and sincerity. Josh clearly was enamored because after the Mariner's won the game he asked to go out to dinner, Annie responded "you want to go for a full marathon date?!" Josh answered, "absolutely I do!" They then went to Edmonds where they had great dinner and conversation, after dinner they walked to the Edmonds waterfront and sat on a bench where Josh proclaimed to Annie that he was smitten and had every intention of pursuing a relationship with her. "Let me know how you feel tomorrow." Annie smirked but later that night she called her bridal party and parents saying "I've met my future husband!" Ever since that marathon memorial date weekend, Josh and Annie have said "absolutely I do" to each other, and are thrilled to share their marital "I Dos" with you. Annie and Josh are grateful to share their wedding day at Congregational Church of Lincoln City as faith is a foundation of their love, and they enjoy the simplicity of a traditional wedding, y'know the kind of wedding you would've gone to decades ago. It also happens to be the father of the Bride's parish. Our intention for our wedding weekend is to begin our marriage with what has always been important to us: simplicity, love, joy, and authenticity. We hope your presence with us in person, or in spirit, encapsulates this with us on our special day and for all the days to come. With Great Love & Gratitude, The Future Mr. & Mrs. Carpenter
