We were introduced to each other in 2005 under the guise that we were going to be part of a mutual friend's radio program. A natural friendship formed immediately, but that is where we left it due to several circumstances - none of which we need mention here. (As the kids say nowadays, "IYKYK!") Fast forward to 2018 when, after years of on-and-off communication and connecting in person here and there, a need for help reunited us one evening. Although it meant cleaning up a basement after a huge storm, the memories, stories, and laughter shared made the process much easier to handle. Mix in the arrival of an adorable 4-week-old puppy, Baby Red, who needed us, but whom we needed more so... well, it's kind of hard to not want to be a unit! #BabyRedSaidGetWed As you know us already, you know that we are far from "traditional" individuals. And, as is surely no surprise, we wish to celebrate our marriage in a non-traditional way. There will be no "Chicken Dance," bridal party, or tossing of the bouquet, for example. We wish to enjoy and savor every moment of this new beginning with each of you and that is where our planning is focused. As you look through the registry, you'll notice it, too, is non-traditional. We're at a season in our lives where it's not about the "things" as much as it is about transforming a space already filled with love, and building upon that foundation together for us and our canine and feline family to live, and for you to visit. What is MOST important to us, however, aren't your presenTS... it's your presenCE. We hope you'll join us in this journey - no matter the distance - for one or more of the opportunities you will learn about here - to celebrate our love. We march together to the beat of a common drum... one we know is different than the norm. We know our loved ones can't wait for the big day, and neither can we!
