Wedding ceremony + reception: Garden Party Attire (Colorado fancy or North Carolina casual). Think sun dresses, rompers, linen suits, khakis and button downs. No other dress codes, but bring a swimsuit in case you want to pop into the lake!
Pin for our wedding: https://maps.app.goo.gl/xs16UbLxr3t1xMdp8?g_st=ic Our wedding will be at Camp Pinnacle at 1 Wolfe Lake Dr, Hendersonville, NC 28739. Follow the pin at the start of this question. Sometimes google maps brings people to the back entrance! You'll know you are at the right entrance when you drive under the "Camp Pinnacle" arch. Follow the parking signs and then walk to the ceremony site (the walk will only take a few minutes).
Our ceremony will begin at 4 pm! Please feel free to spend time during the day at camp with us. We'd encourage folks to head over to the ceremony site at 3:40 pm. It will take a few minutes to walk from the parking to the ceremony site.
We will have coolers full of beer, wine, seltzers, and non-alcoholic options Friday and Saturday night! Due to North Carolina laws, we are not able to serve liquor in this format. We have plenty of alcohol for everyone, and you can bring your own drinks if there is something you specifically want.
Yes! Please write it in on your RSVP for specific meals. You can also let us know directly so we are extra aware!
Please only bring a date if their name is on your invitation or if you have ‘guest’ listed on your invitation to show that you have a plus one. Your invitation can be accessed by typing your name into the RSVP section of the website.
Yes! Kids are welcome for the weekend and we just want to offer some considerations for bringing them along to make sure it’s a good fit for your family. Please reach out to us if you have more specific questions! Possible pros: lots of outdoor play time, adventure spaces, and an easy place for kids to be happy. Possible challenges: a big lake, no babysitter access, full weekend away from home, bringing snacks like you’re camping (since getting to places like a grocery store/restaurant will take longer).
Yes! You're welcome to bring your own snacks or drinks if you would like. We’ll have food and drinks available during meals and the reception. But, if you have certain things you know you love or want as a backup snack, you can bring them along and leave them in your cabin. The camp also allows guests to bring their own beer and wine, so if you have a particular drink that you want, feel free to bring it along!
Yes! Please feel free to bring along whatever will make you comfortable for the weekend. Some other things you might want to bring along are: - flashlight/headlamp - crazy creek/collapsible chair - sunscreen - bug spray - warm layers
