Annie and Ronan met when they sat next to each other on their first day of medical school in Wichita. They were assigned to the same study group and coincidentally always seated next to each other. While studying at the library together, they grew closer from classmates to friends. The first movie they saw together was "Parasite" in an empty theater on a rainy night - one of their favorite memories! Shortly after, they began dating. Throughout the next few years they often went on walks together at Chisholm Lake, ate Piatto's Pizza, and watched Survivor on Wednesday evenings. In September of 2022, Ronan took Annie on a trip to Rome, Italy - his favorite city - where he proposed in the Villa Borghese Garden. They spent the rest of the vacation exploring the beauty and history of Rome. These days Annie is working in Seattle while Ronan finishes up his last year of medical school in Wichita. They are excited to settle in Washington for the next few years as a newly wed couple.
