We first met when I was an intern at Sanford in 2018. Nick worked on the same team so we slowly got to know each other during team meetings and lunches. We bonded over shared interests, like cycling, country music, and traveling to Fort Myers, FL for vacation. After I finished my internship, we went on our first date. We've been on a few dates since then... and the rest is history.

Nick and I were in Omaha for an Old Dominion concert. On the first night we arrived, our only plan (that I knew of) was a dinner reservation. I suggested we spend the afternoon at Vala's pumpkin patch and do a corn maze, among other activities. Little did I know that Nick was feeling a bit rushed to get back to town and get ready for dinner. When we found the corn maze, Nick somehow led us through it in under 5 minutes! I figured that he was secretly great at corn mazes, not that he had other plans. When we were getting ready for dinner, Nick suggested that we go to a bridge in downtown Omaha to take nice pictures. Once we got to the bridge, Nick proposed! What an amazing start to a fun weekend!
