We're excited to share some of our favorite places and activities with you! If you are staying in London ahead of the wedding, Annalie has a ready-to-go email filled with restaurant, bars and other activity recommendations, so please email annalie@hotmail.co.uk and she will happily forward it. The couple will be staying at the Dorsett City Hotel, London in the immediate days running up to the wedding. The couple have booked to have informal drinks at the Salisbury Pub in Convent Garden, London on the evening of Thursday 4 August before travelling to Newark on the Friday. For those in the area please join us! We will also be doing drinks in Newark on the Friday night for those that are around.

Lincoln is where Annalie grew up and is a pretty city with an historic old town, Castle and Cathedral to explore. Around 20 mins from the wedding venue.

York

York, England, United Kingdom

York is only an hour by train from the venue. Direct trains to York from London and Newark North Gate. York is where Annalie went to University, home to York Minster and also where some of Harry Potter was filmed.

Edinburgh

Edinburgh, Scotland, United Kingdom

Direct trains to Edinburgh, Scotland from Newark North Gate and London. 3 hours from Wedding venue by train. Beautiful capital of Scotland, scenery home to Edinburgh Castle and the Edinburgh Fringe comedy festival.

Paris and beyond

Paris, IDF, France

Access Paris Gard du Nord via the EuroStar from London St Pancras station in around 2.5 hours. https://www.eurostar.com/us-en Eurostar services also travel from London to Belgium and the Netherlands.
