My mother and I were headed to New York City for a “girls” trip. We flew into the city on Thursday afternoon. After landing we proceeded with shopping, dinner, and drinks. The next morning, we started the day with a bike ride in Central Park. Next, we enjoyed a nutritious meal at a starch cart, and ofcourse did some more shopping. Friday afternoon started with me getting ready for my “solo”photoshoot in Central Park. However, unbenounced to me, Kev had flown to NY with my father, grandparents, his mother, his sister, and his brother in law. When I arrived at Central Park, the photographer met us on Gapstow Bridge. Kev was already standing on the bridge, but his back was to me. The photographer took a few pictures of just me before I noticed that it was Kev standing a few feet away. I was so surprised!! He turned around, handed me my favorite flowers (pink peonies), and got down on one knee. We all celebrated at Tavern on the Green afterwards. It was a fairytale!
