We're getting married!

Anna and Derek met in Derek's hometown of Temple, Texas. Anna was getting ready to begin her journey as a travel ICU nurse and Derek was working on the railroad in Montana. A few weeks after meeting, Anna moved to Dallas and they began a long distance relationship. Derek was out of state every other week, but he flew in and out of Dallas so he and Anna were able to see each other frequently. Over the next year and a half, Anna continued to travel nurse and she and Derek started to plan for a future in the Temple area. May of 2022, Derek surprised Anna and asked her to marry him! Summer of 2022 into the fall was busy; Derek started a new job at PFG in Temple, Anna retired the travel scrubs and took a full time position in the ICU at the VA in Temple. Derek and Anna bought a house, adopted another dog, waited for their house to be built and then moved in to their new home!
