#Sweet On Sandberg

On our vacation to Gatlinburg, Tennessee we were going to watch the sunset in the Smoky Mountains before dinner. When we got to the lookout point Dale got out of the truck and walked over to the viewpoint. He walked in front of someone taking pictures of the mountains and motioned for me to come over and join him. I thought he was being rude walking in front of the lady trying to take pictures so I refused to go over by him. He looked at me and said, “No, Come over by me. I want to show you something.” I was like hesitant because I felt bad for walking in front of this woman and her camera who ended up being a photographer Dale hired to set up the proposal! When I finally came over to him I saw the pictures of us, and rose petals all around a sign that said “MARRY ME?” I turned around and Dale got down on one knee. He gave me a very sweet speech about how much he loves me (I don’t remember a word of it, it’s like I blacked out) and he asked me to marry him. I obviously said yes and he showed me the insanely gorgeous ring he bought. We took some photos with the photographer, and then when I hugged him I realized he had the size sticker on the back of his jeans. We actually redid the proposal because all of the pictures we had clearly showed the sticker on his jeans! 😂 I can’t wait to marry this man, the love of my life. We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter of our lives with all of you.
