Ross & Anna met at work in 2018, while both working at Rolls-Royce. Ross had just moved to Indianapolis from Lafeyette, and Anna from Tennessee. They were equally starting new beginnings and looking for friends in a new city. They quickly found themselves in the same friend group. There were plenty of late nights around town and even group trips to New Orleans and Fort Lauderdale together. However, the relationship was nothing more than a friendship. Anna had actually been so "single" in Indianapolis, that she decided to move to Chicago in search for another new beginning. Ironically, after three and half years of platonic friendship--Ross decided to pull a move on Anna at her going away party. Classic Ross! They shared their first kiss shortly after in Charleston at their friend's (& now bridesmaid and groomsman!) wedding. Anna moved to Chicago shortly after where they remained "flirty" but nothing serious. In millennial terms, they were having the ultimate situationship. Ross & Anna continued to date other people and enjoy their respective cities away from each other. This was a season of both roses and thorns :) Their mutual friend, Andrew, had a surprise 30th birthday party in Indianapolis. Anna traveled from Chicago for the surprise, and it was the first time she had seen Ross in 6 months. The moment she laid eyes on Ross during the party, she knew she wanted to be with him from that time on. You could say it was love at first sight, only delayed about 5 years! They claim their anniversary as just 7 days after that party and they have been together ever since. Anna moved back to Indianapolis to be with Ross 8 months later, and 15 months later Ross got down on one knee and asked Anna to marry him. They are so excited to continue their love story as they embark on a new season of marriage. They are at their root's best friends and look forward to a lifetime of joy, laughter, and partnership as they tackle life's sorrows and joys together!
