From across the room at a crowded spring break party, Anna approached Nick with a confident (and slightly inebriated): "Hi!". What initially began as a summer fling turned into six years of long-distance, across state lines and an entire ocean, but proved to the couple that they would do anything to be together. When Anna returned from a year abroad and moved to DC, Nick joined her and the two began their shared life - soon after supplemented by Milo Wickham-Ahern. Now based in Evanston, Illinois, the couple will celebrate their marriage in Atlanta with friends and family.

Enlisting the help of Anna's sister Iris and best friend Rory, Nick set out on a months-long planning marathon to ensure the most romantic proposal Anna could have imagined. Nick selected a secluded garden where the two would walk their dog, and set up balloons, flowers, and a book documenting seven and a half years of the couple's memories. Under the guise of getting bagels, Iris and Rory convinced Anna to change out of her PJs and make the trek to the garden, where she was shocked to see Nick standing there in his best suit. It was the easiest question she'd ever answered and the two continued to celebrate with all of their friends in DC at a surprise party Nick planned at their favorite local bar. Safe to say it was one of the best days of their lives.
