Question

How do I RSVP?

Answer

You are at the right place - our wedding website! Once invitations are sent out, the RSVP feature will be enabled. Find the RSVP tab above and follow the prompts. Please make sure to indicate how many members within your party will be present (including naming individuals), as well as indicate food choice/ dietary restrictions.

What should I do if I can’t make it to the wedding?

Answer

You will be missed! If you can not make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP “no,” so we can plan accordingly. We will be offering a live stream nevertheless and we would love to have you join us there if you cannot come in person :) (please refer to the "Schedule" tab)

What should I wear? Is there a dress code?

Answer

Dress Code is Formal/ Black Tie optional! - Ladies should wear a nice floor length or midi or modest shorter dresses or a nice pants suit. - Gentlemen can wear a suit/ tie or sports coat or tux.

What will the weather be like this time of year?

Answer

Low temps are usually in the 60s/70s and high temps are usually in the 70s/80s! It is slightly humid but not nearly as bad as summer months. It will rain on occasion. - You may decide to bring clothes for warmer weather but it would not hurt to pack a light jacket/sweater or a pair of pants in case it is a little breezy. - Please protect yourself and wear sunscreen / sunglasses!

Where are the ceremony and the reception taking place?

Answer

The ceremony is taking place at St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Cathedral in Tarpon Springs, FL. Please note that this is about 30 minutes north of the reception at Carlouel Yacht Club in Clearwater Beach, FL. See Travel tab for more details.

What time should I arrive to the church ceremony?

Answer

At least 20-30 minutes ahead of time so people can find their seats and settle in, please :)

Where should guests park? Is parking free?

Answer

Please see the Travel tab for more parking specifics. But in short, parking is free at both the church and the reception venue. Street parking and a couple surrounding small parking lots can be found at the church, and there will be valet service at the reception (main cost covered, standard tipping likely appreciated by staff).

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony is completely indoors in the church (see above). The reception will be partly both indoor and outdoor: - Cocktail hour will be on the partially covered back patio overlooking the Dunedin Pass/ Channel. - Dinner and other festivities will be held just adjacent to the patio inside in the event space. You can enjoy both the indoor and outdoor aspects of the venue at any times of the evening.

What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

After the ceremony, the wedding party will be taking pictures for around an hour. Guests can casually make their way to the reception hall where we will be serving finger foods and beverages starting at 6:00 PM.

Does your wedding have a theme?

Answer

Not specifically, however it is more "coastal" if you will. Colors include greens, blues, champagnes, whites, other neutrals. You are not required to wear any particular color or themed dress though!

Are there other wedding events I can attend?

Answer

The wedding party will attend a rehearsal dinner. The individuals within the wedding party will receive a separate invitation for this event. Others coming from out of town/ in town are more than welcome to explore all of the area has to offer and settle in prior to the main events! Please see the Things to Do / Necessities tab for more info.

Who all can I bring with me to the wedding?

Answer

Our wedding is strictly RSVP only. We will only able to accommodate those listed on your invitation.

Are the ceremony and reception location wheelchair accessible?

Answer

Yes! Ushers/ staff members will be able to demonstrate where to find wheelchair accessible areas.

Will food and drinks be served at the reception? What kind of food?

Answer

Yes! A variety of beverages (alcoholic and non-alcoholic) as well as finger foods and meal with standard salad and main course will be served during the reception. Dessert / coffee will also be available after dinner. When RSVPing please indicate your main course preference (see RSVP for food options).

Will there be any vegan/vegetarian/gluten free/special diet options?

Answer

Yes! Please indicate your dietary preferences on your online RSVP.

Where are you registered?

Answer

Please see "Registry" tab above. We will be registered through Zola, Target, Crate and Barrel, and likely others- but they all will come through onto the Zola Registry website!

Question

Will transportation be provided between to/from the hotel?

Answer

No- you will be responsible for your own transportation. You can rent a car from the airport versus use Turo car sharing (https://turo.com/). Uber/Lyft is also an option.

Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media?

Answer

Sure! Although we would like the actual ceremony itself to be as "unplugged" as possible. If you do post to social media, please use the hashtag #CheersToSpyratos so all of the pictures can be located in one place!
