Question
I’m from out of town, should I rent a car?
Answer
For most people, no. If you are staying in the box recommended on the Travel map, most interesting places and good food will be walking distance. Uber/Lyft are also extremely accessible in the city and will likely be more cost effective. If you are planning to do a lot of driving around and prefer to rent a car, be sure to check with your hotel to see if they have free parking. Many hotels in the French Quarter/Business District require paid lots, and free street parking is hard to find in these areas.

Are there any events before the wedding?
Answer
Yes! The evening before the wedding, Friday 5/10, we invite you to Wrong Iron on the Greenway from 6-8pm. This is an un-hosted, optional event to see us and other guests before the wedding. Let's enjoy a sunset over the bayou together!

What’s the weather like?
Answer
May is typically warm, 70-80 degrees F. The ceremony is outside so dress for warm weather, and consider a layer for the indoor reception.

Is there a dress code?
Answer
Cocktail attire. Or, as this is a New Orleans wedding, all things fun and festive are welcome (think sequins and loud prints!).

What time should I arrive at the venue?
Answer
Arrive to the venue as early as 3:30pm; the ceremony will begin promptly at 4:00pm. The venue does not have a parking lot so it may take time to find street parking if you are driving. Early arrivals can enjoy the rooftop balcony overlooking the city!

Where do I go once I get to the venue?
Answer
The ceremony will take place on the rooftop balcony. To enter to the balcony, go to the doors on the right and follow the signs. The reception will be directly downstairs following the ceremony, we will not be changing locations.

Is there parking?
Answer
No, Capulet does not have parking. We recommend taking an Uber/Lyft or walking. Parking is in the residential area surrounding the venue so may be limited.

What type of food & drink will be served?
Answer
We will be serving some of our favorite dishes from the city! There will be hors d’oeuvres at cocktail hour, followed by a buffet with both meat and vegetarian options, and dessert. A full open bar will be served with beer, wine, and cocktails.

Are there any events after the wedding?

Yes! We will have an un-hosted afterparty at R Bar & Royal Street Inn for those who want to keep the party going!
