The lodge has a bar is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. There are a few other bars in Augusta that serve lunch and dinner.
All camping spots at the lodge are first come first serve. They are also open to the public, so spots may fill up fast. There are only 10 hook up spots available. The rest is dry camping.
The lodge does have a newly renovated restroom. There are two bathrooms and each has a shower. There is also a washer and dryer.
If you’re driving, estimate a 12 hr travel day. If you want to fly, Great Falls is the closest city to Augusta and is approximately an hour and a half from the lodge.
Just outside of Augusta, the roads turn to gravel. This gravel road is highly used and therefore has many water board spots that are VERY rough. If you’re bringing a camper, make sure to have all belongings secured and cabinets locked, or things will be everywhere by the time you arrive at the lodge. It is a 40 minute drive on the gravel roads.
There are wall tents available for rent if you want to bring a cot or air mattress. There are airbnb rentsal in the Augusta area available. You can rent a camper by visiting rvshare.com or any other camper rental website. There is a greater chance of finding a camper rental out of Great Falls which is the closest city to the lodge.
