From the first day there was an immediate connection between these two. One could say it was kismet. On their first date they jammed out to "I Wanna Rock" and went hiking. It was from that day that they both knew this person was going to be special. They spent every minute together, and the love they had for each other grew deeper and deeper. Going to different places like Cancun, Yosemite, and the mountains although the adventures meant nothing compared to the time spent with each other. Their growing love was their true adventure. These two knew that they were meant for each other every step of the way.
The day of the proposal what a day!! Dusty had to travel for work for 3 whole weeks. When he got back that Saturday he wanted to take Anna out on a date, cook dinner and have a little picnic. Of course Anna loved this idea and thought it was incredibly romantic. The plan was to have dinner ready by 6 and head out after. However, plans changed when Anna’s parents fridge was “broken” and had to get a new one. Dusty offered to go with Anna's dad to “lowes” to get a new refrigerator, when in actuality they were setting up the perfect proposal. Although this would postpone the date, Anna agreed as she wanted to help out her family. An hour had passed and the guys called saying that they couldn't find a fridge. Dusty apologizes but takes Anna on her way. They arrive to the site where they had their first date. There is a flower walkway and an arch set up near a table with a bouquet of flowers with a beautiful sunset along the lake backdrop. They both sit at the table as Anna is starstruck at the amazing set up. Before Anna can say anything, Dusty pulls out a beautiful poem he wrote and asks her to marry him and of course she said yes!!! It was the perfect answer to a perfect proposal.
