Blake and Anna met in the BYU Drumline starting August 2022. Both avid lovers and learners of percussion, they bonded over this shared love and became friends over the course of the marching band season. Anna actually developed tendinitis, and was unable to play anymore in the drumline after the first couple of weeks, leaving there ample time for her to talk to Blake more and distract him from rehearsal. ;) Pretty soon, both Anna and Blake and their friends on the drumline realized the two liked each other, but neither one did anything about it! They continued to hang out with each other in their friend group, and even both started attending BYU's tunnel singing as a way to spend more time together. Soon, they both realized that the reason why they were excited to go to drumline rehearsals was to see the other person and talk to them. Anna and Blake became closer and closer and near the end of the semester, Anna took a chance and asked Blake out! Since then, they've never stopped spending time together, and they fell in love. ♡ Fun fact: They still share a love of percussion and drumline, and even worked together at Lehi High School with their marching band's drumline.
