Welcome to our beginning

Neil and Anna’s story starts with an autumn morning coffee date in Seattle, Washington. They met in November of 2018 after getting in touch through an online dating platform. Anna was a junior studying engineering at University of Washington and Neil was a 1L at Seattle University School of Law. They went on many dates, motorcycle rides and city adventures together, but both especially loved the sport of skiing. After Anna graduated in May of 2020, they got their first apartment together and raised a kitty, Stella; and a golden retriever puppy, Woody. On March 9th 2021, Anna and Neil went night skiing at Snoqualmie Summit Resort just outside Seattle. Neil planned to propose on the slopes – but Anna fell and broke her knee before he got the chance! Ski patrol carried Anna back to the lodge and Neil instead proposed there, sitting on a bench near a campfire. They spent the remainder of the night in the ER, where doctors and nurses smiled each time they heard the story. After Neil's graduation in May of 2021, they moved to Phoenix, Arizona. They have been busy getting settled at their new apartment, healing Anna’s knee, playing with their puppy, exploring the surrounding land, and scoping out the best margarita spot in town. They can’t wait to start writing this new chapter of their lives with you!
