Located on lively Mount Pleasant, the Hilton Garden Inn is another great option if you're looking for an easy 10-minute drive to downtown Charleston. But Mount Pleasant also has some amazing restaurants and activities to explore, including historic sites like Patriots Point and Boone Hall Plantation, golf courses, and the waterfront at Shem Creek, where we will be gathering for Farewell Drinks on Saturday. Located in the heart of The French Quarter, this charming, boutique hotel is walkable to Downtown Charleston’s best parks, shopping, bars, & restaurants! Please note that we do not have a room block at this hotel, but if you are looking to treat yourself and stay downtown, this is a wonderful option. They also have an excellent restaurant Frannie & The Fox! Estimated Drive to Venue: 15 minutes

Vacation Rentals

Hotels in Charleston this time of year can be pricey and Steve and I have had wonderful experiences staying in vacation rentals when visiting! Check out Airbnb and VRBO when planning your travel. We just recommend being mindful of the distance to the venue as some of the beaches can be quite a drive.

This will be the easiest airport to fly into! It is just 20 minutes from downtown Charleston and has all major car rental companies conveniently located there.
