Shane and I met on eHarmony in January of 2017. Let's just say there was no time wasted as Shane and I matched his first day on the site. You could say it was our shared interests, or love for the Cowboys that brought us together, regardless I'm so grateful! After matching and getting the conversation flowing we decided that we would meet. Needless to say we weren't just a few minutes or even an hour away from each other, so after much planning we decided to meet half way in Harrisburg. We were supposed to go to dinner but work ran late for Shane so we ended up just hanging out (many of you know this story).

We all know the love for Fleming's Ribeye steaks we have! Any excuse we get to go, we take! On this particular night we went to dinner with Jess and Tiv and The Beccio's. Jess had just celebrated her birthday so of course we let the waiter know we were there celebrating! After dinner Jess and I werent feeling dessert so much. Instead we were thinking we'd go check out the rooftop bar (Bygone). The boys kept insisting we stay at Flemings instead. I didn't know then but Shane had given "the ring" to our waiter to place in my dessert. He had also told Tiv while in the bathroom that he was proposing so he'd better have his phone ready for pics/videos. After much convincing we all decided to have dessert. Being i wasn't feeling dessert, I was taking my time digging in! Shane was what you could say a little on edge wanting me to find the ring!! Little did i know Donnie (waiter) had brought the ring out in a napkin that was laying on the same plate as the Creme Brulee. After about 10 minutes Shane also realizing if he didn't do something to make me reach for the napkin we might be there all night) Shane happened to "spill" his water. Later found out he launched the water across the table intentionally so I would reach for "the napkin". After discovering this Smyths box in my napkin I quickly handed it to Jess and said "I think they gave me the wrong dessert and this is for you" She started laughing and quickly said I don't think so! Next thing I know I turn around and Shane has the ring in his hands and he is down on one knee! Of course I said Yes! May can not get here soon enough! We look forward to seeing all of you on the dance floor!
