We met at St.Petersburg College on January 10,2014. I tried to give him the wrong number but the right number came out. We started dating getting to know one other. We fell in love with one another. He opened my eyes to so many different things. She taught me how to live again. She showed me what love is and how to love again. We've been through hell and high water and back. But look at us today. We are both ready to say, "I DO" to each other for the rest of our lives.
We were at my Grandmother/Mother's "GIVE HER, HE FLOWERS WHILE SHE'S STILL HERE" Banquet on May 13, 2023. He surprised me by proposing to me in front of a lot of my family. I was not expecting that to happen at all. My two nephews were hugging and talking to me. Then when they let me go I saw my daughter standing there with a sign that said, "WILL YOU MARRY ME!!!" I was trying to figure out who the sign was for. Then I started looking around the room looking for him. When I look down I saw him on one knee with a ring in his hand. I couldn't do nothing but smile and laugh in shock. When he asked me "WILL YOU MARRY ME!!!" I said, "YES I WILL!!" and we were engaged. We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you. See you in Sunny St. Petersburg, Florida!
Daniel "Buster" Davis Sr. (brother of the Groom) he was in our corner. He was so happy that we were getting married. He welcomed me with open arm into the family. He was always so very sweet to me. He would have been one of his groom men. His brother misses him. He maybe gone but he is still remembered and loved. Marquita "Kita" Dudley (sister of the Bride) she was so happy when we first started dating. She made it known to me that I needed to love her sister the right way. She is missed so very much by her sister. She was supposed to be standing by her sister. She is gone but will never be forgotten and loved always.
