Holland State Park
One of the best places to get on the beach of Lake Michigan that is nearby. You can also see the red Holland Harbor Lighthouse!
Mount Pisgah Dune Boardwalk
The towering dune east of the Holland State Park is accessible via a boardwalk and stair system. Mount Pisgah can be accessed off Ottawa Beach Road near Third Avenue in Park Township. Public parking is available at an Ottawa County parking lot near Black Lake Avenue and Ottawa Beach Road. Look for the signage that says "Black Lake Boardwalk East," which will be on your left as you travel west on Ottawa Beach Rd. Park there and walk 800 feet east and cross the road for the trailhead.
Tunnel Park
Tunnel Park is just that – a park with a tunnel that goes through a dune! The 22-acre park also has a children’s playground, sand volleyball courts, picnic areas, a dune climb, and a dune stairway that leads to the top, giving visitors an amazing view of Lake Michigan.
Windmill Island Gardens
Holland is known for their Tulip Festival that happens during the first week of May. We celebrated our engagement weekend by seeing the beautiful flowers and Windmill Island celebrates Holland's Dutch heritage.

Popular coffee spot that is walkable from downtown. We have come here almost every time we are visiting Holland!
