Anh and Oscar first saw each other during visiting weekend at UMass Amherst and few months later became classmates. A late-night craving for Taco Bell after a class hangout marked their first real conversation. They bonded over cheesy gordita crunches and shared laughs; Anh couldn't help but notice Oscar's “impeccable” fast-food taste matched hers. Fast forward to a trip to Anh’s homeland, Vietnam, where amidst the bustling streets of the cities and the tranquil beauty of Ha Long Bay, their connection deepened. Upon returning to the States, Oscar confessed his desire to be the reason behind her smiles. Through the trials of graduate school and the stormy seas of the COVID pandemic, they weathered it all together, finding solace and laughter in each other's arms. Amidst the chaos, they welcomed two furry companions, Benji and Tater Tot, into their lives. They joked that with two dogs, they now had two sons, sealing the deal that they belonged together forever. They helped each other through the highs and lows of both graduate school, and dog ownership. After almost five years, two degrees, lots of destroyed furniture and a move to Beantown, they’re making it official!
