You have 3 good options: 1. Florence 2. Pisa 3. Bologna
We recommend staying in Prato, Florence, Pisa or around San Miniato. Prato is where Ezio is from and both Ezio and Angelika will be staying there for a few days before and after the wedding. It's a relaxed city with a local feel, and a middle point between all airports in Tuscany, the wedding venue and major Tuscan cities, with affordable accommodation options and good transport links connecting you to major cities. ➡️ Distance from San Miniato: 45min drive. Florence is the biggest city in Tuscany with the most tourist attractions and history. However, accommodation in the city centre is typically more expensive. There are cheaper options outside of the centre with good transport links. ➡️ Distance from San Miniato: 50min drive. Pisa is a smaller, less crowded city compared to Florence, located close to the sea and it's a convenient place to stay for those arriving in Pisa airport and/or staying for a short time. ➡️ Distance from San Miniato: 35min drive. San Miniato is where the wedding ceremony and reception will take place. It's a charming medieval hilltop town between Pisa and Florence and a peaceful escape from tourist-heavy cities.
