It all began on a sunny February day in 2017 when Angelica responded to Tom’s Snapchat story about his bright red sunburn from a day at the beach. Little did they know that this virtual connection would lead to a lifetime of adventure and love. Their first date was a whirlwind tour of Newtown's pubs and cocktail bars, a plan that had Tom nervously consulting Google to impress Angelica. It must have worked, for just six weeks into their courtship, a fateful visit to Dick's Pub in Balmain, where Angelica chipped her tooth, became the moment Tom seized the moment to ask her to be his girlfriend (by telling her his shirt was made from “boyfriend material”). Their journey together took them across continents and cultures, as less than a year into their relationship, Tom asked Angelica to embark on a new adventure with him in London. Over the years, they explored 47 countries together, collecting memories and experiences that strengthened their bond. Then, on a picturesque June 24, 2022, against the backdrop of a breathtaking sunset at Hotel Liro in Albania, Tom knelt down and asked the love of his life to marry him.
