Modernism Week in Palm Springs
The 20th Anniversary of Modernism Week will take place in Palm Springs from February 13-23, 2025. Highlights of the festival include the Modernism Show, Signature Home Tours, films, lectures, Premier Double Decker Architectural Bus Tours, nightly parties, live music events, walking and bike tours, tours of Sunnylands, fashion shows, classic cars, modern garden tours, a vintage travel trailer exhibition, and more. Tickets will go on sale November 1, 2024 at noon PDT.
Palm Springs Aerial Tramway
The Palm Springs Aerial Tramway—the world’s largest rotating tram car—travels over 2.5 miles along the cliffs of Chino Canyon, transporting visitors to the pristine wilderness of the Mt. San Jacinto State Park and Wilderness Area. During this ten-minute journey, tram cars rotate slowly, offering spectacular vistas of the valley below. At the Palm Springs Aerial Tramway’s Mountain Station—elevation 8,516 feet and 30 degrees cooler than the desert floor—dine in two restaurants, enjoy viewpoints, hike over 50 miles of trails, watch two documentary films or visit the natural history museum.

Palm Springs Art Museum is open Thursday-Sunday has three locations: two museums in downtown Palm Springs and a sculpture garden in Palm Desert.
