Angie and Travis met online in the midst of the global pandemic. Travis was working from home while going to school and Angie was also continuing her degree virtually. They initially bonded over a shared love of (obscure) music which now manifests itself in frequent singing and dancing around the house. Together they have hiked mountains, swam in the ocean, become expert charcoal grillers, star-gazed, kayaked rivers and lakes, celebrated graduation and new jobs, started gardening, grown closer with friends and family, and turned a house into a home.
Their home is a special place to them, as they have spent a lot of time there together over the last year and a half. Travis knew he wanted to propose and asked Angie if she minded if he tried to make a ring for her. Of course, she thought that was very romantic. Travis set to work, researching materials and methods. He thought of various ways to pop the question, but ultimately decided he couldn't wait! On a typical Thursday night, They grilled out and enjoyed a meal at their dining table they had built together. Travis brought out a ring box engraved "AKP" and held it out to Angie. He asked her to marry him, revealing the ring he had made for her. She said yes and sobbed happy tears. They then danced around the living room with their dog Bingley and have been since enjoying this happy engagement season. They have decided to continue the celebrations at home with their wedding!
