"Blind dates are just the worst, right?!" Well, in our case, a blind date is where it all began. TJ and I met in the summer of 2016, and after that typical awkward introduction and for lack of a better word, we just "clicked". But what can I say, when I saw this tall, handsome guy pull up on a motorcycle, I was done for. Ya girl is a sucker for real life movie scenes. Neither one of us knew what we were getting ourselves into at the time, but we both trusted and believed that we could handle whatever came our way as long as we were together. I never imagined meeting the love of my life at 18, but God had a plan. We were both anxious of the changes and adjustments when he went to boot camp, and I went to college, but everything happens for a reason. I think from the very beginning, everyone knew we were inseparable, so I'm pretty sure it came to no one's surprise when he proposed on Christmas Eve in 2017. We have truly been blessed throughout our entire relationship, even through the distance, his military career, my college courses, time changes, overseas, different states, and the obstacles in between. We have an incredible support system between his family and mine, and the dear friends we hold close to our heart. Every day I think to myself, God sure knew what He was doing when our paths crossed. I don't think either one of us could be any more excited to see what our life together has in store, and we are so lucky to be able to go through all of our big milestones by each other's side. We are beyond thrilled to start this adventure together, and we are so happy and thankful to have each and every one of you be a part of our journey. Thank you in advance for being a part of our special day, because we couldn't do it without you!
