Things To Do

The Wedding Website of Angela Weiner and Micah Idler
We are excited to share some a few of our favorite places in the area with you. Los Angeles is a big and beautiful city with many different areas to explore. With that being said, depending on traffic it can take some planning to avoid rush hour times. Feel free to reach out to us with any travel thoughts and questions.
Walking Distance from Hotels

Walking Distance from Hotels

Walking distance from the hotel is Downtown Burbank filled with restaurants and shopping also connected to the Burbank mall at the end of the street. Some restraunts we would highlight are Kabuki (sushi), Gordon Biersch (American), Gyu-Kaku (Korean BBQ), Finney's Crafthouse (American), Tender Greens (farm to table healthy).

Porto's Bakery and Cafe

Porto's Bakery and Cafe

3614 Magnolia Boulevard, Burbank, CA 91505

Delicious Cuban bakery, everything they make is amazing and would definitely recommend getting food here. Our favorites include cuban sandwich, potato balls, cheese rolls, guava roll, and dulce de leche iced latte. Expect there to be a long line this is a very popular spot.

Universal Studios Hollywood

Universal Studios Hollywood

100 Universal City Plaza, Universal City, CA 91608
IKEA

IKEA

600 South Ikea Way, Burbank, CA 91502

Everyone loves some Swedish meatballs and getting lost in IKEA. It is only a 10 minute walk from the hotel.

Griffith Observatory

Griffith Observatory

2800 East Observatory Road, Los Angeles, CA 90027

Top destination in the city with amazing views and learn a little about space. Entrance is free.

Venice Beach Board Walk

Venice Beach Board Walk

205 Ocean Front Walk, Venice, CA 90291

We play beach volleyball here on Saturday's and it is a special place to us because we spend a lot of our early relationship cruising up and down the boardwalk on our beach cruisers. Venice is know for its funky vibe filled with local art and unique characters. Check out the skate park and muscle beach, we recommend Teddy's Red Tacos, The Window (burger) or Mennoti's Coffee Shop. If you have more time check out these right off the boardwalk. Walk down Abbot Kinney ( the Rodeo Drive of Venice) or stroll through the lesser know about canals.
