Question
GPS isn't pulling the address up, how do I find you?
Answer
It is best to follow directions off google maps or MapQuest. GPS sometimes has a hard time finding the address but if you type "The Oaks Events, Midland, NC", it will pop right up! The driveway is located between Tarheel 4-Wheel Drive Center and Midland Auction(a tiny white building) on 24/27W. Look for a teal sign! 628 Lovers Lane Midland, NC 28107

Where do we park?
Answer
The venue is equipped with its own parking lot. Once you pull into the dirt pathway, follow it all the way down and there will be signs for parking.

What is the attire?
Answer
We want everyone to be comfortable so wear whatever you like! The wedding ceremony will be outdoors (weather permitting) and the reception will be partially indoors with AC.

Will wearing a mask be required at the wedding?
Answer
We want everyone to feel completely safe and have a great time at the wedding. A mask will NOT be required. If you feel more comfortable wearing one then please do so! The venue is taking extra sanitary measures to keep everyone safe and hand sanitizer will be readily available!

What if I've been sick?
Answer
If you have been sick within the past 14 days please stay home and take care of yourself and keep others safe! We want to celebrate with everyone, but our top priority is keeping everyone healthy. If you need to change your RSVP close to the wedding date please text or call Dee Shamel 704-677-4156

What processes are put into place for sanitation at the wedding venue?
Answer
The venue will be thoroughly cleaned before any guests arrive. There will also be sanitizer and a near restroom for everyone to wash their hands at. It is also mainly outside so a lot of space for social distancing. Seating at dinner is open so sit where you are comfortable!

Can we leave our car parked overnight?
Answer
Yes! Your car can stay overnight but must be picked up by 11am the next day.

Does Uber come to the Venue?
Answer
Yes! Uber will be able to pick you up and drive you where ever you need.

How far is the venue from Charlotte?
Answer
The venue is approximately 25-30 min to Charlotte depending on where you are going.
